Affiliate disclosure
phpguzzle.org does not currently carry affiliate links. This page sets out how they would work if the site starts using them, so the rules are on record before anything changes.
What this means in practice
If the site adds affiliate links, an article that recommends a paid service may earn a commission when a reader signs up through the link. Any page that carries such a link will say so plainly, and your price will not change because of it.
No affiliate partnerships are active yet. Commercial coverage is the long-term funding model for the site, but it follows the content rather than driving it.
Editorial policy
Coverage decisions are not made for the commission. We write about services we have integrated, debugged, or shipped to production – the affiliate link is downstream of the editorial judgement, not the other way around. Where two comparable services exist and only one has an affiliate program, we still write about whichever we have actual experience with.
We do not accept payment for placement, ranking, or a specific verdict. If we ever do (sponsored posts, paid reviews), it will be labelled at the top of the article in plain language, not buried in a footer.
How to read the code samples
Every recommendation about a service comes with code we would actually ship. If a snippet does not match the API as of the article's lastUpdated date, the snippet is wrong and we want to hear about it. Open an issue on the project repository.
